Lesson 7 Just a moment, please!
一、教材分析:
前兩個單元我們學習了如何向別人借用電話以及打電話時的一些常用語,例如怎么介紹自己和詢問別人是誰,在實際生活中,我們打電話時,要找的人不一定就在電話旁邊接電話,所以如何請求接電話者轉(zhuǎn)接呢?本節(jié)課我們就要學習如何請求接電話者轉(zhuǎn)接電話。
二、教學目標:
(一)語言目標:
1)繼續(xù)學習打電話的常用語。This is … speaking. Is that …speaking? Wait a moment.
2) 學習幫助別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話。Is …in? Sorry, wait a moment.
3) 會說會用會拼會寫這些單詞和短語:call, do some washing, wait, a CD.
4)掌握現(xiàn)在進行時態(tài)的含義,表達方法和正確運用。 She is doing some washing. Who is call能夠?
三、教學重點難點分析:
1.掌握怎樣詢問電話中的對方以及給別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話時的常用語,例如,Is that …speaking? \ Wait a moment. She is not in.
2.理解現(xiàn)在進行時態(tài)所表達的是現(xiàn)在正在進行的動作。
四、課前準備:
教師準備玩具電話,以及本課的單詞卡片, wait, call, wait, a CD.
五、教學過程:
1. 熱身(Warming up)
1) 教師和學生一起來唱上節(jié)課所學的歌曲 Let’s sing together
活躍課堂氣氛。
2) 教師和學生做幾組TPR 活動,來復習以前學過的短語。為后面學習現(xiàn)在進行時態(tài)做鋪墊。
T:Good morning, class.
Ss: Morning, teacher.
T: Are you happy today?
Ss: Yes, we are very happy.
T: OK. I’m happy ,too. Let’s play a guessing game. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes. We are ready.
T does the action and Ss guess what it is.
Draw a picture, sweep the floor, water the flowers, read some books, play the piano, play the computer game…
教師還可以請一個同學來做動作,讓別的同學猜是什么短語。
2.新課展示(New Presentation)
教師借助單詞卡片來教授本課的常用語和重要語法點。
1) 教師向?qū)W生做出打電話的動作,讓同學們猜是什么單詞。從而引出單詞 phone. 教師出示卡片---call,告訴同學們這兩個單詞意思相同,而且它們都有兩個詞性,名詞和動詞。 我們經(jīng)?梢哉f:
I’ll give you a phone.
I’ll give you a call.
這樣的句子還可以說成
I’ll phone you.
I’ll call you.
2) 在打電話時,我們經(jīng)常會遇到想要找的人沒有接電話,而是別人接的電話,我們應(yīng)該學會給別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話。
教師讓學生聽課文錄音一遍,要求學生學完以后,能夠回答提出來的問題:Where is this telephone from ? Who does Wang Nan want to speak in the phone? Who answered the telephone?What is Helen doing? Is she reading?
在聽過第一遍課文以后,要求學生能夠回答前三個問題.
This telephone is from Wang Nan.
Wang Fang wants to speak to Helen.
Linda answered the telephone.
教師讓學生再聽一遍課文錄音,聽聽Linda 在轉(zhuǎn)接電話時
的常用語。
Is Helen in?
Yes, but wait a moment. She is busy.
這部分內(nèi)容是本課的重點內(nèi)容。介詞in的原意是在…里面,在這里它還有“在家”的意思。其反義詞則為“out”, 例如,
She is in today. Is she in today?
He is out today.
當我們給別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話,經(jīng)常要說這樣一個短語 wait a moment或者a moment, please. 或者 hold on ,please. 這幾個短語可用于多種情況下,例如,在餐廳點菜,服務(wù)員經(jīng)常會給我們說。
3)教師讓學生再聽第三遍錄音,并且要求學生找出課文中所有加上了-ing 的單詞或是短語。

教師將這幾個動詞展示在黑板上,用紅筆勾出-ing 部分,先領(lǐng)讀這幾個短語,讓學生掌握-ing 動詞的發(fā)音。然后教師向?qū)W生解釋現(xiàn)在進行時態(tài)的含義,表達方法和正確運用。
現(xiàn)在進行時態(tài)是指在現(xiàn)在正在發(fā)生的動作和事情,它的構(gòu)成是系動詞-am, is, are和動詞-ing(現(xiàn)在分詞)組合起來。經(jīng)常和now, at this moment等表示現(xiàn)在時間的狀語連用。
教師向?qū)W生出示課前復習的短語,引導學生造句。
I am reading a book.
She is doing her homework.
He is speaking to you.
You are playing computer games.
We are singing and dancing.
They are running.
通過句子,教師給學生總結(jié)出動詞加-ing的規(guī)則。末尾有不發(fā)音“e”的去掉“e”加-ing,以輔音字母結(jié)尾的重音在第一個音節(jié)上的單音節(jié)單詞要雙寫末尾的輔音字母,再加-ing. 其它的就可以直接加-ing。
3.小結(jié):
本課我們學習了向別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話的常用語,以及現(xiàn)在進行時態(tài)的含義,結(jié)構(gòu),正確用法。還有動詞加-ing的規(guī)則。
4.鞏固活動:
1)4人一組,教師將學生分成若干組,要求學生在規(guī)定時間內(nèi)自編對話,以給別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話的內(nèi)容為主,在班里展示。
2)教師將全班分成男女兩組,快速出示以前所學的動詞短語,要求學生也能快速將短語變成動詞現(xiàn)在分詞,說出正確的句子,鞏固練習。
3)教師后播放錄音,學生聽,并且跟讀。
4) Let’s practise(1)
A: In this practice, we should know the meanings of several words and phrases. ‘Just a moment, in, that’s OK.’ Here when we have to hold the telephone, we can see ‘wait a moment.’ So ‘just a moment’ equals to ‘wait a moment.’ The adverb ‘in’ means ‘a(chǎn)t home’. So here we can use ‘She’s out‘or ’She went out.’ ‘That’s OK’ means ‘It doesn’t matter’.

5) Let’s practise(2)
A: In this exercise, firstly when should be clear about the content of the telephone message. We know this message is from Jack to Linda at half past ten on June 21st. Jack wants Linda to do some shopping with him that afternoon. He need Linda to call back. 新課標第 一網(wǎng)
做這道題時,我們首先要很清楚電話的內(nèi)容。例如電話是7月21日10點半Jack打給Linda的。他想邀請Linda那天下午和他一起去購物。他要求Linda給他回電話。
Kate: Hello?
Jack: Hello! Is Linda there?
Kate: No, this is Kate. Just a moment.
Sorry, she’s out.
Jack: Oh. I want to go shopping with her this afternoon. Could you ask her to call me back when she comes back?
Kate: OK. No problem.
Jack: Thanks.
