Job Description

REPORTS TO: Creative Director, Executive Creative Director

SUMMARY
The Associate Designer is responsible for implementing the visual design of innovative and engaging digital experiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Brainstorm, concept and collaborate on overall campaign ideas with creative team
• Assist in implementing primary design direction
• Take personal accountability for on-time deliverables and design that is in compliance with client style guides and standards
• Work to develop presentation and communication skills
• Take personal accountability for on-time deliverables
• Always present work to Art Director before all internal meetings and client presentations
• Work to understand the principles and process of web development
• Seek out mentorship within the creative department

REQUIREMENTS
• 1+ years experience in relevant field
• Exceptional design or advertising portfolio
• Relevant education and training in design field with solid typography and graphic design skills
• Must have exceptional design aesthetic, variations on styles and awareness of design trends and innovation
• Expert proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design programs
• Ability to use animation programs (Flash, After Effects, etc.) is a huge plus
• Understand the technical possibilities and limitations of web development
• Ability to work on multiple projects, working within time deadlines, and prioritize tasks for each
• Ability to work with a team across all creative disciplines
• Team oriented, self-motivated
• Display professional, articulate, and mature presence in all aspects of team and client relationship building
