Job Description:
- Design,develop,test and maintain device drivers for Oracle Solaris.
- Cooperate with QE team closely to debug related issues.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues is part of the work.
Required profile:
General:
- Master degree or above in CS/EE, at least 3 or 4 full days per week.
- Fluently both in written and oral English.
- Good communication and coordination capability.
- Good self-learning ability.
Specific:
- Good programming skills in C.
- Knowledge of Solaris/Linux kernel theory,implementation and system architecture.
- Knowledge of H/W architectures (x86,SPARC) and device I/O.
- Familiar with Kernel debugging and core dump analysis.
Preferred(Any of the following skills will be a big plus):
- Hands-on experience in device driver development for Linux/Unix.
- Experience in Xen or other virtualization technologies such as KVM,VMware,etc.
- Experience in WiFi related development(driver,stack,tools,802.1x, etc.), understand WiFi protocol family.
- Experience in USB related development including but not limited to: system software,host/client drivers,etc.
