2nd year - Pioneer Research Center, Beijing
JOB PURPOSE
Work with SNP marker technology within Global Marker Technology at Pioneer/DuPont and support China molecular breeding.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct research project according to standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure data return in a timely manner. The responsibilities including sample preparation, DNA extraction, SNP assay and data analysis.
2. Maintain proper records for lab process, instruments performance, shipping and receiving, noting problem areas and communicate effectively with team members and manager,
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
1. BS or MS degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, Agricultural or other equivalent background and experience
2. Attention to details and ability to troubleshoot high throughput lab processes.
3. Self motivated and be able to work independently and as a team with good interpersonal skills.
4. Good verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English as well as computer skills.
