就是說觀點之間的關系要明確，從一個觀點講到另外一個觀點的過程也要很清楚。
那么我們該如何做到呢?
首先我們要了解表達兩個句子關系的方法：

其中一種方法就是所謂的 明連接 ，主要體現(xiàn)在形式上：就是利用because, as, while, if, however, therefore, although, similarly, consequently, nevertheless，first和 second等連詞或者副詞表達因果，并列和轉(zhuǎn)折等關系。
另一種方法則是 暗連接 ，主要體現(xiàn)在語義上： 通過使用指示代詞、人稱代詞等對前一句中出現(xiàn)過的內(nèi)容進行指代，或者對前一句話中出現(xiàn)的關鍵詞進行轉(zhuǎn)述，解釋，從而形成自然的承接關系。

使用了明連接和暗連接后，對照原文，文章的連貫性有了較大的改善，讀起來更加順暢。

通常我們用總分(一個主題，兩個分論點，每個分論點后面加例子)的結構來回答。主題句中表明觀點后可以加上because，for two reasons 表明和后面兩段話的因果關系。
而兩個分論點前面可以用first和second這樣的序數(shù)詞來表示兩段的并列關系，也可以在兩段之間加上表示遞進關系的what‘s more，further more， moreover等詞。此外每個分論點的例子要在語義上(暗連接)對于分論點進行支持。
