逗號(hào)表示句子內(nèi)部的一般性停頓。兩個(gè)具有獨(dú)立含義的句子，在沒(méi)有連詞的情況下簡(jiǎn)單地被一個(gè)逗號(hào)隔開(kāi)是不正確的。改正這樣的錯(cuò)誤須用句號(hào)或分號(hào)代替逗號(hào)，或用并列連詞(and， but， or， so， nor， yet)連接兩個(gè)句子，或用從屬連詞(because，as， although等)，否則會(huì)導(dǎo)致句子出現(xiàn)語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤。
錯(cuò)例：Some people believe children in secondaryschool should study international news as a subject， others think that’sa waste of time.
正解：Some people believe children in secondaryschool should study international news as a subject. However， others think that’s a waste of time.
或：Some people believe children in secondaryschool should study international news as a subject， but others think that’s a waste of time.
