　　 1. Turbines need to be built where there is wind such as on mountains. Bats live close to mountains.
　　 2. Tall structures attract bats and it is where they choose to sleep. Bats can sleep in the turbines at night but when the turbines starting working in the daytime, this will alert and harm the bats.
　　 3. Radar can damage bat’s reproductive system.
　　 體育必修課 Mandatory Physical Course
　　 Reading：一位大學(xué)學(xué)生寫信給校長(zhǎng)要求將體育課(Physical course)改為必修課而不是現(xiàn)在的選修課，理由有二：
　　 學(xué)校健身房(gym)里基本上都是空的，沒有學(xué)生進(jìn)去鍛煉，由此可見學(xué)生沒有得到必要的體育鍛煉，體育必修課可以強(qiáng)制學(xué)生獲得鍛煉和健身;
　　 體育必修課(physical course required)可以使學(xué)生接觸到以前從來(lái)沒有接觸的運(yùn)動(dòng)(sport)，對(duì)新的體育項(xiàng)目發(fā)生興趣
　　 Conversation：學(xué)生不同意信件中的內(nèi)容，認(rèn)為將體育課改成必修課并不是好主意，針對(duì)以上理由提出兩點(diǎn)反駁：
　　 健身房里面(inside)的情況說(shuō)明不了學(xué)生運(yùn)動(dòng)的狀況,外面的情況不可忽視(outside does count)。有的學(xué)生在健身房外打網(wǎng)球(play tennis outside the gym),有的學(xué)生從校外騎自行車到校內(nèi)(ride bike from off-campus to campus)，這些都是運(yùn)動(dòng);
　　 體育必修課不能使學(xué)生產(chǎn)生新興趣(explore new interests)。如果體育課改為必修，學(xué)生會(huì)選擇他們"已經(jīng)會(huì)的"或者"很擅長(zhǎng)"的運(yùn)動(dòng)(choose the sport they have already known or they are good at),因?yàn)閷W(xué)生傾向于"行事謹(jǐn)慎"(play safe)。
