　　職位描述/要求：

　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

　　1. Load geotechnical data, particularly for seismic and wells to Landmark Software, load navigation, well and culture data to Petrosys software.

　　2. Prepare geotechnical products and displays under guidance of geological and geophysical staff.

　　3. Maintain databases for geotechnical and reservoir engineering data, and ensure quality of data. Establish and maintain a filing system for and manage a library and storage facility for hardcopy data that the department uses and is responsible for.

　　4. Provision of data to external parties, in particular Government and JV participants.

　　5. Maintain Subsurface Department’s colour printers and plotters. Liaise with company IT&T Coordinator as appropriate. Advise on new purchases.

　　6. Purchase supplies for Subsurface Department. IT requirements, e.g. Printers and Plotters, tapes for data transfer and backups.

　　7. Liaise with Subsurface department staff regarding relevant developments in hardware and software.-

　　QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

　　Bachelor level degree in earth sciences or petroleum engineering preferred; Higher School Certificate or local equivalent is minimum requirement

　　Some proficiency in PC and Unix Systems Administration advantageous

　　Basic knowledge of fundamentals of petroleum industry technologies and associated data and its management.

　　Knowledge of computer operating systems – UNIX and PC.

　　Knowledge of geological and geophysical data management systems

　　Reasonable written and spoken English
