Wits Bioinformatics has two open positions for postdoctoral fellows in bioinformatics
Postdoctoral fellowship in the bioinformatics of complex diseases. The National Bioinformatics Network has awarded us a fellowship valied at R200k/pa as part of Professor Michele Ramsay’s project looking at the genetic and epigenetic factors in complex diseases in African populations
University Postdoctoral Fellowship. This would be attached to an existing research project in bioinformatics at Wits. Current project include novel computational techniques for clustering and sequencing, phylogenetics, candidate gene-finding, laboratory information systems. The value of the stipend is R150k/pa
