  Part 1.The analysis of the teaching material

  This lesson is a reading passage . It plays a very important part in the English teaching in this unit . In this passage we should help the students get some knowledge about the British Isles , such as general idea about England , position of the British Isles , the climate of the British Isles , the lauguage , the history and so on . At the same time , the students are required to read the text and do different kinds of exercises . And the teacher should let the students to understand some difficult words,phrases and sentences . Of course the students should receive some moral education .The teacher lets the students know that everybody has his own country and should love it by learning the history , culture of Britain .

  I’ll use the computer and screen , and show some pictures of the places of interest of England and try to say something about them .

  Step 2 Do fast readingGive the students several minutes to do fast reading and then get them to tell whether the following sentences are ture or false and correct them.

  高二年級(jí)8班的學(xué)生在成績(jī)上處于年級(jí)中等偏下的位置,由于先期積累不夠,對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)缺乏信心。本課的主題是容易引起學(xué)生興趣的主題,文章難度不高,希望通過(guò)對(duì)課文內(nèi)容和語(yǔ)言的學(xué)習(xí),使學(xué)生對(duì)于英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)產(chǎn)生更多的興趣和信心。并且由于班級(jí)中英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)能力兩極分化,采取面向全體,因材施教的教學(xué)手段,力求讓每個(gè)同學(xué)都真正融入到課堂學(xué)習(xí)中來(lái)。

  三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

  放錄音,讓學(xué)生跟隨錄音快速閱讀,并要求學(xué)生找出每一段落的中心句,并在讀完之后,要求得出這篇文章的整體大意。并讓學(xué)生起來(lái)進(jìn)行回答

  第三個(gè)答案:acrtivity3 task 在這一環(huán)節(jié)當(dāng)中我會(huì)設(shè)計(jì)一個(gè)任務(wù)。任務(wù)類型為知識(shí)的搶答。

  首先我會(huì)將整個(gè)班級(jí)分為若干個(gè)小組,每組有七到八個(gè)人。并選出小組長(zhǎng)。這一環(huán)節(jié)中我設(shè)計(jì)了十個(gè)對(duì)錯(cuò)題,(true or false),要求學(xué)生以小組的形式進(jìn)行搶答。并作出得分記錄,后還要評(píng)選出第一名。在搶答過(guò)程當(dāng)中,我并不只單單是以游戲的形式來(lái)完成這一任務(wù),只是簡(jiǎn)單的完成對(duì)錯(cuò)題,我會(huì)要求每組在搶答的過(guò)程當(dāng)中,要對(duì)他們所選的答案進(jìn)行解釋說(shuō)明為什么。讓學(xué)生在這個(gè)過(guò)程當(dāng)中真正玩有所得。

  Step 4 post-reading

  這一環(huán)節(jié)我會(huì)把我們所讀的這篇文章設(shè)計(jì)成一篇閱讀題的模式,設(shè)計(jì)五道選擇題,用幻燈片展示出來(lái),并讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行選擇。題目的設(shè)計(jì)會(huì)以文章的主旨大意和一些細(xì)節(jié)作為試題。這讓學(xué)生能在這一環(huán)節(jié)當(dāng)中對(duì)剛剛已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)知識(shí)進(jìn)行鞏固。

  Step5 summary

  在這一環(huán)節(jié)中我會(huì)整堂課做一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)短的總結(jié),并再?gòu)?qiáng)調(diào)本次課的重難點(diǎn)。讓學(xué)生明確本課的重點(diǎn),再明確課堂目標(biāo)。和引導(dǎo)學(xué)生對(duì)這篇文章的情感態(tài)度進(jìn)行升華。

  作業(yè)

  1、要求學(xué)生背誦本次課的重點(diǎn)詞匯和短語(yǔ)

  2、要求完成相應(yīng)聯(lián)系。

  3、要求學(xué)生課后通過(guò)各種途徑查到關(guān)于地震的常識(shí),并去了解一些 逃生的小常識(shí),下節(jié)課來(lái)全班同學(xué)一起分享。

  一、教材分析


  1. 單元背景分析

  人們的生活離不開(kāi)新聞,每天我們可以通過(guò)電視,報(bào)紙,雜志或者網(wǎng)絡(luò)來(lái)獲得新聞。知道新聞是一件很簡(jiǎn)單的事,但是制作新聞是一件不容易的事。通過(guò)本單元的學(xué)習(xí),我們可以獲知作為一個(gè)新聞工作者應(yīng)該具備那些素質(zhì)以及新聞采訪的基本程序等。本單元的語(yǔ)言技能和語(yǔ)言知識(shí)主要圍繞"新聞"這一中心話題進(jìn)行設(shè)計(jì)。

  2.教材內(nèi)容分析

  本課時(shí)的內(nèi)容是高二英語(yǔ)必修5第4單元Making the news的第一課時(shí)的Warming Up和Pre-reading.

  本課時(shí)主要分為兩大部分:

  1)warming up (熱身)部分通過(guò)討論來(lái)引出報(bào)紙工作人員的工作類別和所負(fù)的責(zé)任。

  2)Pre-reading (讀前)部分通過(guò)一個(gè)問(wèn)題"What are a good journalist needs to have?"來(lái)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生去考慮一個(gè)優(yōu)秀的記者應(yīng)該具備的素質(zhì),然后引導(dǎo)學(xué)生談他們難忘的經(jīng)歷和感受,后通過(guò)寫(xiě)一個(gè)"假設(shè)"為下一部分的學(xué)習(xí)做好準(zhǔn)備。

  3、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)

  1)掌握?qǐng)?bào)社工作人員工作的各種類別和所負(fù)的責(zé)任。

  2)了解一個(gè)優(yōu)秀的記者應(yīng)該具備那些優(yōu)秀的素質(zhì)。

  4、教學(xué)難點(diǎn)

  1)掌握怎樣進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的采訪。

  5、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

  根據(jù)課文特點(diǎn)及新課標(biāo)對(duì)高二年級(jí)學(xué)生英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)能力的要求,本課的教學(xué)目標(biāo)我定為以下幾方面:

  1)詞匯: occupation, photograph, photographer, journalist/reporter, foreign correspondent, announcer, host, cartoonist, designer, printer, critic, editor , chief editor, deputy editor,sub-editor, personality, enthusiasm,thorough, gifted, technically, interview, interviewee, interviewer.

  2)重點(diǎn)句型:

  What are the qualities a good journalist needs to have?

  Which occupation will you choose in future?

  2. 語(yǔ)言技能目標(biāo)

  通過(guò)本課的學(xué)習(xí),要求學(xué)生掌握制作新聞的基本程序,了解作為一個(gè)優(yōu)秀的記者需要那些品質(zhì)以及怎樣進(jìn)行采訪。

  3. 情感目標(biāo)

  1)。激發(fā)并提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣,勇于嘗試;體現(xiàn)課堂教學(xué)"主體者"的身份,積極主動(dòng)參與教學(xué)各環(huán)節(jié),成為學(xué)習(xí)的主人;具有個(gè)性,培養(yǎng)創(chuàng)造能力。

  2)指導(dǎo)學(xué)生形成良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣,讓他們懂得做好自己的工作是一件不容易的事情,激勵(lì)他們認(rèn)真學(xué)習(xí),為將來(lái)的職業(yè)做好準(zhǔn)備。

  二、說(shuō)教法

  為了能很好地突出重點(diǎn),突破難點(diǎn),圓滿完成教學(xué)任務(wù),取得良好的教學(xué)效果,我抓住重點(diǎn),一切從學(xué)生的實(shí)際出發(fā),以學(xué)生為主體,教師為主導(dǎo),讓絕大多數(shù)學(xué)生帶著愉快的心情參與到課堂教學(xué)當(dāng)中。為了激發(fā)學(xué)生的的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,我采用觀看視頻、討論、、小組交談等教學(xué)方法,讓學(xué)生充分體現(xiàn)課堂教學(xué)"主體者"的身份。設(shè)計(jì)出由簡(jiǎn)單到復(fù)雜的多個(gè)任務(wù),讓學(xué)生以合作學(xué)習(xí)的形式完成任務(wù)。學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)在完成任務(wù)的過(guò)程中得到充分的訓(xùn)練;而任務(wù)設(shè)計(jì)的梯度也照顧到不同層次學(xué)生的水平,讓每個(gè)學(xué)生在這堂課中都能體會(huì)到完成任務(wù)的成就感。

  三、說(shuō)教學(xué)程序

  1.Leading-in(導(dǎo)入)部分通過(guò)讓學(xué)生觀看一段關(guān)于神舟7號(hào)飛船發(fā)射的新聞視頻,然后回答下列問(wèn)題:

  1) Do you want to be an astronaut in the future?

  2) How do you feel after watching the video?

  3) Through what ways can we get the news?

  (Show the possible answers on the screen)

  We can get the news by reading newspaper ∕ magazine、listening to the radio、watching TV or surfing the Internet.

  此部分的目的是為了吸引學(xué)生的注意力,激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,同時(shí)通過(guò)問(wèn)學(xué)生是通過(guò)那種方式來(lái)獲知這一消息來(lái)引入"新聞"這個(gè)話題。

  2.Warming up(熱身)首先通過(guò)讓學(xué)生猜想報(bào)社里各工作人員的類別,然后把下列關(guān)于各種工作類別的詞匯展示在幻燈片上:

  journalist/reporter記者,foreign correspondent 國(guó)外記者,announcer 播音員,host主持人, photographer 攝影師,writer作家, cartoonist漫畫(huà)家,designer設(shè)計(jì)師, printer印刷工,critic評(píng)論員,editor編輯,chief editor主編,deputy editor副主編, sub-editor助理編輯

  然后叫學(xué)生一邊看圖片一邊回答這個(gè)問(wèn)題" Can you tell me what they are in the following pictures?"

  reporter?--- to find out news and tell people about it in newspaper or on TV∕radio.

  editor---to make sure the writing is clear, concise and accurate; check facts.

  photographer---to take photographs of important people or events.

  designer---to lay out the article and photographs.

  后叫學(xué)生通過(guò)圖片的提示說(shuō)出制造新聞的過(guò)程。

  此部分的目前是為了讓學(xué)生了解報(bào)社的各個(gè)工作類別以及他們的責(zé)任,并能夠掌握相關(guān)的詞匯,然后通過(guò)看圖片填空的方式讓學(xué)生掌握制作新聞的基本程序。

  3.Pre-reading(讀前)此部分我采取討論的方式,通過(guò)讓學(xué)生回答一個(gè)優(yōu)秀的記者應(yīng)該具有那些優(yōu)秀的品質(zhì),由于學(xué)生英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)比較差,我提示他們可以用一些形容詞來(lái)描繪這些優(yōu)秀的品質(zhì),例如:hard-working, friendly, patient, imaginative, professional, truethful, thorough.然后我就把書(shū)本上的'問(wèn)卷展示在幻燈片上,在學(xué)生做好問(wèn)卷之后,我設(shè)置了下列問(wèn)題叫學(xué)生開(kāi)展拓展性討論:

  1)What level of education should a good news reporterhave?

  2) Does work experience play an important role in making the news?

  3) What do you think are good communication skills?

  4) Enthusiasm for the job is the key to success, do you agree? Why or why not?

  通過(guò)pre-reading,我要求學(xué)生掌握一個(gè)優(yōu)秀的記者的應(yīng)該具備那些優(yōu)秀的品質(zhì),并且能夠說(shuō)出這些品質(zhì)為什么這么重要,讓他們懂得做好每一項(xiàng)工作都是不容易的,并能夠掌握關(guān)于這些品質(zhì)的相關(guān)詞匯。

  4.Group work(分組活動(dòng)) 在這部分我叫兩個(gè)學(xué)生為一組,一個(gè)學(xué)生扮演采訪者,另一個(gè)扮演被采訪者,進(jìn)行關(guān)于選擇未來(lái)職業(yè)的采訪?紤]到學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)水平,我給他們展示了一個(gè)模版:

  Interview

  Patient, imaginative, well-organized, polite, curious, technically good, concise thorough, creative, careful, gifted, professional.

  Interviewer: Which occupation will you choose in future?

  Interviewee: I want to be a teacher

  此部分的設(shè)計(jì)是為了提高學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)而設(shè)計(jì)的,內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)單,絕大多數(shù)學(xué)生都能夠參與其中,在鍛煉口語(yǔ)的同時(shí),又使他們熟悉了pre-reading部分提過(guò)的描述優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)的相關(guān)單詞,并且學(xué)習(xí)了本課時(shí)一個(gè)重要的句型"Which occupation will you choose in future?"

  5.Homework(家庭作業(yè))

  Everyone has unforgettable moments in his / her life. Think about your first day at school, being far away from home, your first day abroad…… Discuss after class what the first day would be like, and how you would feel if you were to work for China Daily.

  此部分的目的是通過(guò)"一個(gè)假設(shè)"為下一節(jié)課的閱讀部分做好鋪墊。
